Check this link to an excellent article by Loza Fina in the Omaha World Herald, Living section front page. I called Loza because she put the number for Zombie Walk attendance at 3,000, and I was curious where she got that number. She told me it was a number she heard most from general conversations, and reflects the total number of people who were there in Benson, not just Zombie Walkers. Her and I agreed, in the case of total people who showed to observe, take pictures, and just be a part of the fun, the number probably well exceeds 3,000. I would say closer to 5,000. Whatever the number, it was an obvious success, and the ZRS was a big part of that success.

As a side note, I must say, if you are in the mood for a serious, heavy, informative and well backed conversation about zombies, or anything else for that matter, find a ZRS member. I could talk for hours with ‘em.
